Niamh Shaw is an excellent communicator, teacher and leader. Her enthusiasm is contagious, and her energy seems to have no bounds.

Niamh Shaw is an excellent communicator, teacher and leader. Her enthusiasm is contagious, and her energy seems to have no bounds. Her approach to work, and life, is “all in” – when she decides that something should get her full attention it gets 200% of her full attention and energy. I’ve had the honor or knowing Niamh as an International Space University student (excellent, absorbed a broad range of highly technical space subjects with ease), and then working with her as she progressed to Lecturer and then Department Chair of ISU (very well organized, and equal parts teacher, mentor and spirit guide). She took on a very challenging task of re-invigorating ISU’s Space Humanities department, and brought fresh ideas and energy to the task. She is passionate about space and the promise of the future, and illustrates this in her art (one woman shows) and how she lives life. A world full of individuals like Niamh would be a wonderful world indeed.
