James Webb Space Telescope, a partnership with NASA, ESA and the Canadian Space Agency (CSA), will release its first full-colour images and spectroscopic data on July 12, 2022. Launched on Christmas Day 2021, the telescope is currently 1.5 million kms away from Earth on an orbit around the Sun.

The last six months have required the teams to set up and test the telescope. The world has been waiting for glimpse of these first infrared images, and no-one knows exactly what secrets this telescope will reveal about our Universe.

Exciting times indeed!
